Colposcopy

The incidence of cervical carcinoma is very high, especially in those with HIV/AIDS. Thanks to generous funding from the Scottish Borders Action for Aids Group (SBAAG) group it was possible to install a new colposcopy probe and supporting equipment for the enthusiastically run ‘see and treat’ cervical screening programme (photo below, with patient consent).
